Senator Chris Murphy | Tell Congress: Pass the Keep Families Together Act
My Father’s Day started with two young boys rushing into our bedroom, determined not to let their Dad get one minute of extra sleep. It was great. How you dream it will be as a parent. But I’ll tell you what: no matter the joy I get today from my kids, I cannot stop thinking about the children separated from their parents at the border as part of the Trump administration’s evil-to-the-core immigration policy. That’s why tomorrow, I’m going back to work to try and pass the Keep Families Together Act, a bill that will put a stop to this inhumane policy. If you want to stop children from being separated from their parents, I hope you’ll sign my petition in support of the bill.
