Stephanie is a declared candidate for Secretary of the State because she believes that we are at an inflection point and a change in direction is needed. To renew trust in our political process and our elections, Stephanie believes that the next Secretary must redefine the role to include a focus on civic education and engagement for children and adults, prioritize outreach to the community and the professionals who run our elections, and work with the executive andlegislative branches to match resources to our value that voting is our most fundamental right. The next term will be defined by both vision and the capacity to implement the many reforms already passed by the legislature. Stephanie believes that she has the experience, work ethic, and passion necessary to create a path to a less divisive and more democratic future.
Stephanie has been Wilton’s Representative in the State Legislature and we’ve been thoroughly impressed with her knowledge, energy, and commitment. Can’t wait to see her take on expanding voter access and civics education!
