Make a Difference in Wilton and Connecticut

Serve in Wilton’s Town Government

Serving on a town board or committee is one of the most important ways you can participate in, and affect, Wilton’s future. The Democratic Town Committee welcomes both unaffiliated voters and registered Democrats as potential nominees for these seats. We trust that the DTC’s commitment to fiscal responsibility, environmental stewardship, compassionate treatment of employees and an inclusive and tolerant political discourse are your values as well. View Open Positions on the Wilton town website.

Serve in the State Legislature

Representatives for Senate District 26 and House District 42 have the opportunity to advocate for the interests and needs of our district, making sure that Wilton’s concerns are heard at the state level. They work to address local and state issues, help constituents navigate state services, and draft, propose, debate, and vote on bills and laws that affect our district.

How the DTC can help

If you are interested in serving on one of Wilton’s boards or commissions or in the State legislature, the DTC can help match your interests, experience, and abilities with meaningful opportunities that have real impact. The DTC supports endorsed candidates with assistance from the nominating committee and campaign team, including briefing on issues, communication and presentation training, scheduling support, advertising, and SEEC compliance.
