Please join me on Wednesday, February 10, from 7pm-8pm at a Zoom event hosted by Norwalk Women Who Vote. Although people of color make up approximately 35% of Connecticut's population, they make up less than 20% of the state's boards and commissions. The picture is even bleaker when you look at women of color.

State Representative Kate Farrar has co-introduced HB 6211 to achieve gender and racial diversity on state boards and commissions at a level that reflects the population of the state. I have signed on as a co-sponsor and look forward to joining Kate at this event to share ways you can support this important legislation.
