Voting is the cornerstone of a healthy democracy. In light of the current public health emergency, I’ve asked the Office of Governor Ned Lamont to remove restrictions from absentee ballots in the April 28th presidential primary, ensuring access to those wishing to avoid voting in person. Though polling places will remain open, this step will promote social distancing while still ensuring full participation in the process is available to all who want it.
