2017-19 Platform to be ratified at next WDTC meeting 7/19

At the 6/6/17/ meeting of the WDTC, members approved the 2017-2019 Platform “Listen to Wilton”. Wilton Democrats have the opportunity to ratify the platform on Wednesday, 7/19/17 at the July meeting of the WDTC. All Wilton Democrats are welcome to attend! 7:30pm at Comstock Community Center. Lois Alcosser

Lois Alcosser died Saturday, July 8 at age 91. She was a loyal member of the Wilton Democratic Town Committee for many years. She attended meetings, spoke up about issues, and worked on committee projects. She was a Certified Elections Moderator who worked as an elections official for several years for the Wilton Registrars of Voters. She was an accomplished writer. Wilton’s softball tradition sets partisanship aside on July Fourth

Republicans and Democrats vied for the coveted metal bucket trophy at this year’s 51st Frivolity Bowl on Tuesday afternoon. Senate bill will result in higher premium increases than ACA

That is the latest analysis from the Kaiser Family Foundation. In fact they stated – Overall, marketplace enrollees would pay on average 74 percent more towards the premium for a benchmark silver plan in 2020 under the BCRA than under current law (Table 1).
