Campaign 2025

BOARD OF SELECTMEN

Richard McCarty

In every community, there comes a moment when individuals step forward to serve, to give back, and to help shape the future.  Wilton is at a point of inflection where the challenges of the present should be addressed with an eye to the future.  My experiences in private and public service have taught me that the most lasting solutions arise from collaboration.  I aim to foster bipartisan unity to find immediate and long-term solutions to the challenges facing our community.  My approach is to focus on finding common ground and the timely delivery of results.  I will seek out best practices and innovative strategies to move our community forward.

In every community, there comes a moment when individuals step forward to serve and help shape the future.  Wilton is at a point where the challenges of the present should be addressed with an eye on the future.  My private and public experiences have taught me that lasting solutions arise from collaboration.  I aim to foster bipartisan unity to find immediate and long-term solutions to challenges facing our community.  My approach focuses on finding common ground and timely delivery of results.  I will seek best practices and innovative strategies to move our community forward.

I have listened to neighbors voice concerns for how we spend tax dollars, schools, infrastructure, and social services.  They say our local government feels distant, unresponsive or slow to act.  I believe it is possible and necessary for our leaders to be accessible, transparent, and accountable.

I will prioritize open dialogue and inclusive decision-making by creating avenues for feedback to ensure voices are heard.  Governing is not about imposing one’s ideas but about working together for practical and fair solutions.  By fostering trust between residents and their Selectman we can build consensus and achieve real progress in a timely manner for the present and the future.

Richard McCarty has lived in Wilton for 30 years with his wife Ann raising three children.  A retired corporate attorney with over four decades of experience in insurance, financial services, and governance, Richard was a Senior Vice President and General Counsel for the United States and Bermuda subsidiaries of a publicly traded company, managing complex legal matters and multimillion-dollar budgets.

Now retired, Richard is an active community volunteer serving on the Board of Selectman, Board of Assessment Review, Fire Commission, Wilton Schools Long Range Planning Committees, and as an election poll worker. He also volunteers for the American Red Cross Disaster Action Team and Princeton’s Alumni Schools Committee.

Richard is running for the Board of Selectmen with a deep love for Wilton and his commitment to collaborative, nonpartisan leadership. He believes the town must address long-term challenges, including infrastructure and affordability, with transparency, integrity, and a vision for Wilton’s future.

David Tatkow

I am running for Board of Selectman firstly to provide level-headed leadership for our town during a time when our values are coming under attack from political developments nationally, and secondly to contribute to a vision of Wilton which thoughtfully evolves and grows from the current form we love into something even greater.

My motivation to run for the Board of Selectmen is two-fold: First is to make the simple administrative and management functions of this critical town board run as smoothly, accurately, and efficiently as possible. Much of what the Board does could be described as “routine” or even “boring” by some, however proper execution is critical to ensure that services are delivered, that the town’s finances are prudently managed, and that Wilton’s reputation remains strong. My long career working in investment manager research and consulting to institutional allocators I believe has prepared me well for synthesizing large amounts of information, asking the right questions, and making decisions. I’ve had to collaborate closely with numerous individuals both within my firm, and at my clients through the years, and I hope to bring this ethos of effective working partnership to the Board of Selectmen.

While the first part of my motivation to run is more about operational stability, the second component is largely visionary. Wilton has many great qualities, however to truly make Wilton into town where residents can find recreational, entertainment, and dining options without leaving our borders, and a town which visitors view as a true destination, critical thinking needs to be had on our long term plan, and the infrastructure and assets required to achieve this. Wilton needs to be a town accommodating residents at all stages of their lives, from young adults looking for their first apartment when starting a career, to parents requiring abundant green space and child-friendly community activities, to empty nesters looking to downside, yet wanting to remain a part of the community. I hope to help contribute to the vision of thoughtful growth to make Wilton into an even greater town than it is right now.

David Tatkow has called Wilton home for the past 11 years, where he lives with his family and two chihuahuas. A devoted father, David’s children attend Cider Mill and Middlebrook schools, and his weekends often find him cheering from the sidelines of Wilton Soccer travel games.

Professionally, David works as an investment consultant with Albourne America LLC, where he advises institutional investors on portfolio construction and manager selection. Over the course of his career, David has built trusted client relationships, helped expand Albourne’s presence in Connecticut, and developed deep expertise in markets, financial instruments, and risk assessment. He’s eager to bring his ability to synthesize large amounts of information and translate it into practical and actionable decisions to the BOS.

David earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma for his academic excellence. He also received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth.

An active member of the Wilton Community, David serves on the Wilton Library Board and is a three-year member of the Wilton Democratic Town Committee. Additionally, he has volunteered as a teacher with Junior Achievement in Stamford. He is passionate about public service, believing that the power of local engagement can drive meaningful change.

David believes that Wilton must proactively embrace responsible development and long-term planning to ensure continued vitality and quality of life for future generations. If elected, he’s committed to bringing diligence, dedication, and integrity to the Board of Selectmen, while working collaboratively to build a vision for Wilton that balances tradition with progress.

BOARD OF FINANCE

Eric Fanwick

I’m running for the Wilton Board of Finance because I believe in responsible, transparent, and forward-thinking financial stewardship for our town. Wilton is a community built on strong values, excellent schools, and a commitment to preserving the quality of life that makes this town special. To protect and strengthen that foundation, we need leaders who are ready to make thoughtful decisions that balance fiscal responsibility with long-term investment in our future.

And I believe with my degree in economics along with 40 years of data analytics that I can bring a unique perspective that has been missing from the board.

I bring a deep respect for data-driven decision-making, collaboration, and accountability. I am committed to listening to our community, asking the hard questions, and making sure we are planning not just for today—but for Wilton’s future generations.

This is about more than numbers. It’s about trust, priorities, and vision. I’m ready to serve, and I ask for your support.

Eric Fanwick, candidate for the Board of Finance, will bring data-driven decision-making and long-term financial stewardship to Wilton’s future. With decades of experience in analytics and technology, he believes sound fiscal policy and transparent planning are essential to maintaining Wilton’s excellence and affordability.

A Wilton resident and proud parent of four Wilton High School graduates, Eric has deep ties to the community and a strong commitment to its success.

Eric’s  life lifelong Connecticut resident, with an Economics degree  from George Washington, and a Master’s in Computer Science. He served as  CTO at FamilyTime.com. Then spent a decade as a computer consultant and is now a Senior Manager of Data Analytics at Charter Communications.

Eric supports C-level executives in making informed decisions for a company with over $55 billion in annual revenue. Analyzing complex data and forecasting outcomes is the expertise he hopes to bring to Wilton’s Board of Finance.

Kari Roberts

I am running to make sure that the voices of all Wiltonites are heard in the financial decision-making process. I want to ensure that Wilton is strategy-based, pro-active and pragmatic in all of its financial activities and decisions.

I am running for the Wilton Board of Finance because I have always been motivated to help others. Wilton has been an incredible place for my husband and I to raise our family. (My husband himself grew up here in Wilton). I would like to give back and now, and as an empty-nester, I have the time. My career was in finance, so I feel very secure in my qualifications. Wilton is undergoing, (or has undergone), some very large changes in the last five years: the turnover of the housing stock due to the covid-related housing market (which had been fairly stagnant since the financial crisis of 2008); large amounts of high-density/multi-family buildings going up in town; the wonderful addition of ASML, which proves the attractiveness of Wilton as a home for corporations (something we want to encourage); the prediction of school enrollment going up over the next ten years, etc. These are all events that we need to make sure we analyze and process, using the most robust financial strategies and inventive thinking possible. Wilton is a changing town; we need to ensure that we change with it in a pro-active,  strategy-centric, pragmatic manner.

This is a fantastic town! We need to make sure that we’re planning for the future, doing all that we can to keep us financially competitive, while maintaining our reputation as a great place to live! We need to ensure that we’re not making rash decisions, based on the wishes of a few. We need to serve all the varied constituents of Wilton and come up with creative solutions that all can benefit from. I am excited to dedicate myself to the financial health and well-being of Wilton.

Kari Roberts, a 26-year Wilton resident, is focused on maintaining Wilton’s financial strength while supporting responsible development and the continued excellence of our schools.

Kari had a 21-year career on Wall Street, finishing as a Managing Director at Credit Suisse First Boston in Mortgage Trading. She has volunteered locally with ABC Wilton, Wilton Library Ladies’ Soiree, Wilton Land Conservation Trust, and as a nursery school board president, youth soccer manager, youth hockey manager, youth sailing manager, and Sunday school teacher. She currently serves on the board of an NYC non-profit. Kari holds a degree in Economics from Stanford University.

Kari and her (Wilton reared) husband raised two children in Wilton. If elected, she plans to pursue relentless budgetary excellence and work with organizations like AdvanceCT to attract  synergistic businesses and support thoughtful growth.

She looks forward to working collaboratively with all Wilton elected officials to do what’s best for Wilton.

BOARD OF EDUCATION

Nicola Davies

I am seeking re-election to the Wilton Board of Education because I believe deeply in the power of our schools to shape lives and strengthen our community. For nearly 20 years, my family and I have been proud to call Wilton home, and both of our sons are graduates of Wilton High School.

Wilton is a community that values public education and is full of people who moved here for our  schools. Our dedicated teachers and staff provide both individualized attention and academic challenge, and together we prioritize our children’s education, honor their individuality, and make bold, forward-looking choices that put students at the center of everything we do.

I am proud of the strong partnership between the Board and our educators. By supporting teachers and administrators in their work to continually refine instruction and strengthen student wellness and belonging, we have allowed them to focus on what matters most—delivering a world-class education for every student.

Looking ahead, my priorities remain clear: to ensure academic excellence while maintaining fiscal responsibility, to support student well-being, and to prepare our students to thrive in a rapidly changing world.

Pamela Ely

I am proud to be running for a second term for the Board of Education. I am committed to ensuring that every child in our district receives the skills to become successful learners. As someone who believes that  education can change lives, I want to continue that commitment for another four years. My decision to run is centered on my desire to be a part of an educational experience for students, families and educators. As a former teacher and Administrator, I understand the challenges of running a classroom, making sure there is learning taking place; to  help educators do their job, to help  students  become confident learners.

If elected I will advocate for:

  • Student Success: Policies that will put children first, create opportunities for academic growth and support emotional well being.
  • Support for Educators Teachers have resources, training and most importantly the respect to do their jobs.
  • Responsible Leadership  Board of Ed is transparent and accountable to the community.
  • Safe, Inclusive Schools  Environment where students feel safe, seen and valued.
  • My campaign is centered on my belief that experience matters and the BOE needs experienced people. I would be honored to have your vote.

Pam Ely is running for re-election to the Board of Education, bringing decades of experience as a teacher, administrator, and community leader. A Wilton resident since 1983, Pam has been deeply involved in local life, serving as a lay leader at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church and volunteering with Minks to Sinks , Wi-Act ,Circle of Care , Open Door .

Professionally, Pam spent over 20 years as the Director of Children’s Day School, where she worked closely with the Wilton schools to ensure early interventions and student success. She holds degrees from Sarah Lawrence College, Bank Street College of Education, and Adelphi University.

If re-elected, Pam  will continue to work closely with the Superintendent and advocate for policies that strengthen Wilton’s schools and uphold the standard of excellence for students and teachers.

PLANNING & ZONING

Ken Hoffman

I am running for Planning and Zoning to help guide Wilton’s growth in a way that attracts families and businesses, while ensuring public input and transparency in development decisions. I believe in fostering better communication, public engagement, and coordination among town boards to preserve and enhance the quality of life that makes Wilton a special place to live.

Wilton is evolving, and with that change comes the opportunity to shape a stronger, more vibrant community. I want to help make Wilton more competitive—attracting families seeking a great place to live and learn, and welcoming businesses that value a talented, educated, and motivated workforce.

I’m running for Planning and Zoning to help guide that growth thoughtfully and inclusively. I believe meaningful change starts with better listening and more transparent communication. I support open forum sessions where residents can share their views on development, regular opportunities for public comment at P&Z meetings, and clear explanations of how and why decisions are made.

I also believe we need stronger collaboration among Wilton’s boards and commissions. We’ve seen progress with the BOS, BOF, and BOE working more closely together—now it’s time for Planning and Zoning to be part of that partnership, so we can align our efforts and build a better Wilton together.

Most of all, I’m running because I care deeply about this town. Wilton has given so much to me and my family, and I want to help ensure that every resident can enjoy the same exceptional quality of life we’ve been so fortunate to experience.

Ken Hoffman is running for re-election to the Planning & Zoning Commission to bring strategic, transparent leadership to Wilton’s growth and development. A Wilton resident since 2000 and father of five Wilton Public Schools graduates, Ken is deeply committed to the community.

With over 30 years of experience in financial consulting and investment strategy, Ken advises leading global firms on growth and organizational planning. He currently serves on Wilton’s Planning & Zoning Commission and the Town Pension Investment Committee, and has volunteered extensively in youth sports and local nonprofits.

Ken is focused on inclusive, forward-thinking solutions that support Wilton’s long-

Trevor Huffard

I’m running for Planning & Zoning because Wilton’s current development process is broken—it fails to meaningfully incorporate public input and tries to work out town-wide goals through individual projects, serving no one well. Drawing on my experience leading corporate turnarounds and volunteer organizations like Wilton CERT, I want to create a cohesive development policy that reflects what residents actually want while streamlining the process for property owners. My vision is to redesign how we gather public comment upfront and develop clear guidelines that can efficiently guide future projects, helping Wilton embrace thoughtful growth through strong, bi-partisan leadership.

Trevor Huffard is running for the Planning & Zoning Commission to bring more transparency, accountability, and community input to Wilton’s development process, as a current member of the Zoning Board of Appeals, Village District Design Advisory Committee, and the Executive Director of Wilton CERT. He is already familiar with Wilton’s landscape and is ready to take on a larger role in shaping its future.

Trevor is the owner of TLH Structures, a business that designs and delivers energy-efficient building systems. His background includes investment banking and executive leadership in startups and turnaround companies, with expertise in strategy, operations, and sustainable construction.

Trevor Huffard has lived in Wilton since 2002. Growing up in Greenwich, Connecticut, he earned a degree in Computer Science from Brown University before going on to receive his MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. He and his wife raised two children in Wilton, both of whom attended Wilton Public Schools. His son is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Public Policy at Georgetown University, and his daughter works in Columbus, Ohio, for Abercrombie & Fitch. In his free time, Trevor enjoys gardening and sailing.

He believes Wilton’s planning process needs reform, and that decisions must reflect clear goals and meaningful public engagement.

Dr. Michelle Saglimbene

I’m running for Wilton Planning & Zoning to protect what makes our town unique while helping it evolve thoughtfully through smart, inclusive, and community-driven planning. I believe in growth that honors Wilton’s character, history, and future.

My name is Michelle Saglimbene, and I’m running for Planning & Zoning because Wilton deserves a bold but grounded vision, one that respects our past while planning deliberately for what comes next.

I grew up here. I graduated from Wilton High School. And now, I’m raising my children in the very neighborhoods that shaped me. I’ve seen how Wilton has changed, and I’ve also seen how much of its spirit remains neighbors who know one another, schools that care deeply, and a town that values both beauty and belonging.

Planning & Zoning isn’t just about maps and bylaws, it’s about shaping the lived experience of a town. It’s about making sure that Wilton continues to be a place where families thrive, where open space coexists with innovation, and where development supports, not erodes, community connection.

Professionally, I’m an emergency room nurse with a doctorate in executive nurse leadership. I’ve worked at the intersection of strategy, crisis response, and complex systems for over a decade. That experience gives me a unique lens to bring to Planning & Zoning – one rooted in both empathy and execution.

I want to help Wilton make decisions that serve us today and set us up well for tomorrow (and beyond). That means being proactive, not reactive; open-minded, but not unanchored. I believe we can grow – intelligently and inclusively – while preserving the qualities that make Wilton feel like home.

This is more than a candidacy. It’s a commitment to care for Wilton with the same thoughtfulness I bring to every patient, student, and project I lead.

Dr. Michelle Saglimbene is running for the Planning & Zoning Commission to help shape Wilton’s growth. A longtime resident with deep roots in town, she is committed to ensuring that Wilton’s future reflects the needs of both current and future generations.

As a graduate of Wilton High School, Michelle has witnessed the town’s evolution as a student, parent, and professional. Now, she’s ready to give back by serving in a role where long-term thinking and compassionate leadership are essential.

Dr. Saglimbene holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Executive Nurse Leadership degree from Fairfield University. With experience as an emergency and critical care nurse, she exudes a blend of empathy, precision, and problem-solving, qualities she brings to P&Z.

Michelle understands the balance between preserving Wilton’s character and planning for its future. If elected, she will develop strategic plans that reflect residents’ voices and honor what makes Wilton unique.

Margit Ritz

I’m running to ensure Wilton grows in a way that preserves its natural beauty and small-town character while embracing thoughtful, transparent development designed to enhance Wilton.  With a vision for Wilton that embraces community input, smart planning, we can lower the tax burden, attract a vibrant, diverse population, and secure a strong future for our beloved town.

I’m running for Wilton’s Planning & Zoning Commission to bring fresh leadership focused on smart growth, fiscal responsibility, and community values. A parent with children in Wilton Public Schools, she understands the pressures rapid development places on schools, services, traffic and the urgent need for balance.

I’m deeply committed to protecting Wilton’s natural beauty and small-town character while planning responsibly for the future. I believe residents deserve a real voice in decisions that shape our community, with transparency and accountability at the center of P&Z leadership.

Under current leadership, large projects are moving forward with limited public input, raising legitimate concerns about density, infrastructure, and emergency services.

Wilton is at a tipping point. Without strong, forward-thinking leadership and a clear vision, the town risks losing its woodsy charm, small-town feel, and financial stability. I believe Wilton can grow strategically, attract the right kind of businesses, and expand intelligently in ways that lower the tax burden on homeowners.

By fostering a vibrant, walkable town center with restaurants, retail, and gathering spaces (similar to Ridgefield, New Canaan, or Westport) Wilton can strengthen its economy while staying true to its small town roots.

I envision a stronger, more prosperous Wilton, one that balances preservation with progress, welcomes new businesses and families, and enhances quality of life for all. I’m passionately committed to guiding sustainable growth with transparency, respect for taxpayers’ voices, and a steadfast dedication to preserving the unique character that makes Wilton special while ensuring it thrives for generations.

Margit Ritz, a longtime television producer, devoted mother, and active community volunteer, is running for Wilton’s Planning & Zoning Commission.  A New Canaan native and Wilton resident since 2021, she combines forward thinking creativity with practicality in shaping our community growth.

With over 25 years producing content for Netflix, Hulu, Bravo, and more, Margit knows how to deliver complex projects under pressure, on time and on budget.  Since moving to Wilton, Margit’s been volunteering with STAR, the Wilton Food Bank, local schools, and coaching cheer.

Margit’s deeply committed to ensuring that Wilton grows with transparency, sustainability, and respect for the unique character that makes Wilton special, while ensuring that Wilton thrives for future generations.

Jessica Rainey

Wilton deserves a revitalized downtown area and development decisions that are made with the best interests of the town in mind. I will bring a focused and thoughtful viewpoint to the Planning & Zoning Council.

Shaping the town’s future is an important task that requires the input and direction of individuals who are able to understand regulations, negotiate well and also always have the best interests of Wilton in mind. My family has lived in Wilton for almost 6 years and has enjoyed becoming a part of this wonderful community. I am deeply invested in the well-being of the town, maintaining what makes it so special and helping to make necessary improvements to ensure its vitality. Wilton deserves a beautiful and functional downtown area, new developments that serve the town and that have a cohesive aesthetic. Wilton residents should also have a voice in the development of their town; their opinions and concerns matter. Decisions we make over this next term need to benefit Wilton in the years to come, and should not merely be shortsighted quick fixes. My career has given me ample experience working with contracts and regulations, and I have a strong attention to detail as well as the ability to bring a sense of calm to stressful circumstances, all of which will serve me well as a member of the Planning & Zoning Council.

Jessica Rainey is running for the Planning & Zoning Commission to help shape a more inclusive, forward-thinking Wilton, one with thoughtful development, revitalized public spaces, and expanded affordable housing. A legal program manager, mother, and community volunteer,

Jessica has lived in Wilton for the past five years with her family. Professionally, she manages an intellectual property portfolio at a scientific society and oversees paralegal responsibilities across departments, requiring precision, discretion, and strong communication skills.

An active community member, Jessica serves on the Democratic Town Committee. She co-chaired the 2023 Miller-Driscoll Book Fair, participated in Women’s History Month events, and has coached four seasons of youth soccer. She also co-founded a chapter of a professional circle focused on leadership development for women and allies.

If elected, Jessica is committed to working thoughtfully and collaboratively to ensure Wilton grows in a way that honors its character while meeting the needs of future generations.

Zoning Board of Appeals

Anthony Iorfino

Anthony Iorfino

I have been very grateful to have had two offspring benefit from the wonderful Wilton school system.  I was pleased to step forward to run for this position when I learned of this opportunity to contribute my efforts in support of the Town of Wilton.  This would be my modest way of giving back to the community and to fulfil my sense of civic duty.  In addition, I believe I can be useful in this role by lending my help to promote an environment of fair play in service to my fellow residents.

Tony Iorfino is running for the Zoning Board of Appeals to bring analytical thinking, community commitment, and a thoughtful approach to Wilton’s future development. A 22-year Wilton resident, Tony and his wife raised their two children here and are proud to call the town home.

Tony earned his undergraduate degree from Columbia University and a graduate certificate in Financial Risk Management from UConn. He spent his career as a high-yield bond analyst and later in energy consulting, developing strong skills in research, regulation, and financial strategy. He’s currently pursuing bookkeeping certification and studying Python to deepen his investment analysis work.

Active in the Wilton Democratic Town Committee, Tony is running to give back to the community that welcomed his family. He believes responsible development and a balanced tax base are key to Wilton’s long-term sustainability and is committed to bringing practical, well-informed problem-solving to the ZBA.

Liz Schiff

Liz Schiff

I have always believed in giving my time and energy to others and working to make my community a better place. Until two years ago, I was a lifelong resident of New York City. When I decided to move, I looked at many communities in the Northeast, but chose Wilton. In my short time here, I have seen Wilton’s strengths, but also the challenges that come with growth and development. Progress is necessary, but it must be approached thoughtfully, balancing the needs of residents as well as the impact on traffic, our schools, public safety, infrastructure, the environment, and the town’s character. My goal is to help ensure that Wilton remains beautiful, livable, and financially stable, not only for today’s residents, but for future generations.

Elizabeth Schiff is running for the Zoning Board of Appeals to help preserve Wilton’s character while supporting thoughtful, community-minded development.

Elizabeth holds an A.B. in English and American Literature from Brown University and an M.S.Ed. in Elementary Education from Bank Street College of Education. A lifelong educator and seasoned volunteer, she brings decades of experience in problem-solving, communication, and collaborative leadership. She has served on nonprofit and school boards, led successful fundraisers, and navigated zoning and regulatory processes through personal real estate projects.

Originally from New York City, Elizabeth moved to Wilton two years ago and quickly fell in love with the town’s natural beauty and strong sense of community. She is passionate about giving back and is committed to ensuring that Wilton remains a vibrant, livable, and prosperous town for generations to come.

ZBA ALTERNATE

Patti Frisch

Patricia Frisch

I am running for the Zoning Board of Appeals because I believe it is my turn to step up and contribute to the community I have called home for decades.  I believe my background as a real estate lawyer, and particularly my experience advising clients on zoning compliance issues and variances, has given me a knowledge base and the analytical skills that are particularly well-suited to a position on the Zoning Board of Appeals.  If elected, I will serve my term without any personal agenda other than to preserve and enhance the Board’s reputation for fairness, transparency and soundly reasoned decisions. I hope you will vote for me in November.

Patti Frisch, a Wilton resident for over 36 years, is running for the Zoning Board of Appeals to bring her legal expertise and commitment to the community to town governance. A graduate of Bowdoin College and Yale Law School, Patti received her legal training at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP in NYC and later became a founding partner of Frisch & Frisch, where she has practiced law with her husband since 1989.  Her legal experience has focussed on commercial and residential matters, land use, zoning, and development.

Patti is known for her thorough, responsive, and principled approach to her clients. She believes ZBA decisions should be grounded in facts, law and fairness, not politics, and is committed to being a thoughtful, impartial voice on the board.

If elected, Patti will bring experience, preparation, and integrity to every decision in service of Wilton’s best interests.

ASSESSMENT APPEALS

Becca LaMantia

becca lamantia

I’m running for Wilton’s Board of Assessment Appeals. I’m a former nonprofit program manager and currently a stay-at-home mom, a millennial, and someone navigating the real-life challenges of affordability in our town. I’m running to ensure that property assessments and the taxes tied to them are fair, transparent, and accessible for everyone. I represent a growing group of residents who are trying to make Wilton work financially for their families. I understand what it’s like to make hard choices about childcare, housing, and household budgets, because I live it. That point of view is missing from too many conversations in local government, and I believe it’s essential if we want decisions that reflect the needs of all Wilton residents.

Becca LaMantia is a community advocate, parent, and nonprofit leader running for the Board of Assessment Appeals. With experience in program management, community organizing, and data-driven decision making, she brings a pragmatic, inclusive approach to local government.

Her career in nonprofits included leading national diversity and equity reporting in the entertainment industry, where she built coalitions and drove change across institutions. After returning to her husband’s hometown to raise her family, Becca quickly became active in civic life. She serves as Campaign Manager for the Democratic Town Committee and leads fellowship programming at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church.

Becca is committed to keeping Wilton a place where families can thrive. She understands how assessments affect housing affordability and stability and will ensure residents have a transparent appeals process. As a Millennial and parent of a toddler, she brings a generational perspective and a record of listening, organizing, and delivering results.

CONSTABLE

Bo Mitchell

Bo Mitchell

I have lived in Wilton for 55 years. I have been deeply involved in law enforcement for 40 years. Sixteen years as Police Commissioner. Twenty-four years as Constable. I feel that Wilton’s safety and security is one of my primary responsibilities. That’s why I run as Constable today.

Mitchell served as Wilton’s Police Commissioner for 16 years before being elected Constable, a position he has held since 2001. He is a co-founder of Wilton CERT and, in 2001, founded 911 Consulting, which develops emergency, disaster recovery, business continuity, crisis communications, and pandemic plans, along with training and exercises for major corporations and universities. Mitchell holds 23 certifications in homeland security, emergency management, disaster recovery, business continuity, safety, and security. His decades of public service and professional expertise reflect a lifelong commitment to keeping communities safe, prepared, and resilient.

Ernie Ricco

Ernie Ricco

Having served the community in elected and appointed Government Commissions, Boards and Committees for over 40 years, I have been asked to serve a 5th term as Constable. I believe there is nothing more honorable than community service having important personal and government pillars of Family, Quality of Life, Respect, Education, Integrity, Character, and Communication.

Ernie Ricco, elected Constable in 2017 and Justice of the Peace in 2025, was the youngest Stratford Town Councilman in the history of Connecticut elected in 1985 at the age of 22. For over 40 years, Ernie has held numerous elected and appointed government and community positions including Board of Education liaison, Finance Committee, etc. Ernie was the Chairperson of the Wilton Platform committee from 1999 to 2023 and served as a Connecticut Delegate to numerous state and national conventions since 2000. He is the owner of Ricco Enterprises, a property management, construction, and operation company, as well as a collegiate D1 FBS Football Coach. Important Personal and Government pillars are Family, Quality of Life, Respect, Education, Integrity, Character, and Communication.

Sara Sclafani

Sara Sclafani

I’m running for Constable because I’m committed to staying actively involved in our community. Over the years, I’ve served on local boards of trustees and volunteered in our schools and with the Wilton Girl Scouts—always seeking ways to contribute wherever I’m needed. Serving as Constable is a natural extension of that commitment and another meaningful way for me to give back.

Sara Sclafani, a 12-year Wilton resident, is a dedicated community advocate running for Constable. She is committed to serving with transparency, accessibility, and efficiency, ensuring the role remains a trusted and responsive presence in town.

A graduate of the University of Michigan and Notre Dame Law School, Sara has a professional background in corporate law and human resources. She is also an active volunteer, serving on the Boards of the Wilton Library Association and Wilton Historical Society, and supporting local Girl Scout troops.

Sara is passionate about connecting with residents and contributing wherever she can make a difference. As Constable, she will uphold Wilton’s civil laws with integrity while remaining engaged in the everyday life of the community she calls home.
