The Wilton Democratic Town Committee finds and helps to elect qualified individuals to constructively participate in the running of the town of Wilton through its many appointed and elected boards and commissions. The Committee raises awareness and visibility of local, state and national issues and candidates through a variety of activities including:
About
- Monthly meetings
- Discussion groups
- Community events
- Voter education
- Canvassing
- Letter campaigns
- Phone banking
- Providing rides to polls
We ask all Democrats to get involved in some way. We meet the first Tuesday of every month at 7:30 at the Comstock Community Center (with the occasional exception to accommodate local events: check Events for updates). Come to one of our monthly meetings and become part of the discussion. Consider sitting on one of the many boards or commissions that allow this town to function. Whether you can afford the time commitment or not, we can always use your ideas and expertise.
Regardless of your political affiliation, we welcome your insights, opinions or desires for what you want this town to be and to become. Remember, your rights and responsibilities as a citizen are not limited to the periodic casting of a vote.
