Lois Alcosser died Saturday, July 8 at age 91.
She was a loyal member of the Wilton Democratic Town Committee for many years. She attended meetings, spoke up about issues, and worked on committee projects. She was a Certified Elections Moderator who worked as an elections official for several years for the Wilton Registrars of Voters.
She was an accomplished writer. Her by-line appeared often in the Wilton Bulletin and other area publications.
She wrote for the Greens even as she was a resident. She had a long career in NYC as a copywriter for several large advertising agencies.
She was a loving mother and grandmother who adored her family.
But we knew, too, for her kind demeanor, for her calm, and for her resolute Democratic values.
