ICE forcing separated parents to accept deportation to see their kids
ICE agents are giving parents a form with only two options —
1. reunite with their children in order to be deported together, or 2. choose to be deported alone so their children can stay to pursue asylum.
But parents have a legal right to seek asylum, too. This policy essentially holds children hostage in order to force parents to give up that right.
