Construction Activities to Begin on Merritt Northbound and Southbound Between Exits 40 & 41 in Norwalk beginning Wednesday April 25 for the rehabilitation of the West Rocks Road Bridge over the Merritt Parkway. Work includes demolition and replacement of the existing bridge superstructure.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
The majority of Merritt Parkway work will be performed during weeknight closures from 8pm.-6am. on Route 15 northbound and from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. on Route 15 southbound.
Work on West Rocks Road may be performed during the day from 9am-3pm. and at night from 6pm-6am. A full detour will be implemented from May 29, 2018 to August 27, 2018, for the full replacement of the bridge. More information will be provided in the near future prior to any local road detour being implemented.
