Last day to switch party affiliation to vote in primary!

Connecticut’s primaries are closed, which means you can only vote in the Democratic primary as a registered Democrat.  

If you want to vote in the April 28th Democratic primary but are currently registered with another party (e.g. Republican, Green, or Independent) you must change your affililation by January 28.  If you want to vote in the Democratic primary and are currently not affiliated with any other party (i.e. Unaffiliated), you can change your affiliation up until April 25. Check or change your affiliation here.  

Please note: “Independent” and “Unaffiliated” are not the same thing. If you are not registered with any party, you are “Unaffiliated”. The “Independent Party” is a right-leaning political party. Check or change your affiliation here.
