Wilton goes to the Women’s March NYC, January 20

Join the Wilton contingent on Jan 20 as we march to protest the assault on our democracy during the past year! The 2018 march marks the first anniversary of the Women’s March and is being organized by the Women’s March leadership. Wilton Dems are organizing a group to travel together to the NYC March – join us!

We’ll meet at the South Norwalk train station for the 8:39am train and travel in together to Grand Central. From there, the S Shuttle to Times Square to catch the 1 Train to Columbus Circle, then walk two blocks to Central Park West & 62nd street. The trip from GCT to Columbus Circle is ideally about 20 minutes, but we’re planning on that trip taking longer. The rally begins at 11am.

The rally stage will be at Central Park West & 61st/62nd street.
Marchers should gather along Central Park West between 62nd & 82nd street. After the rally, we will march toward Bryant Park. The march route is being confirmed by NYPD.

PLEASE RSVP to Jackie Kremer at jkremer@fairfield.edu so we know how many people will travel together. Please include your name, email and cell phone number.
