The Republican administration couldn’t repeal the ACA, so now they are trying to sabotage it. Now to add insult to injury, they are proposing to eliminate the tax deduction for extraordinary medical expenses. That would directly impact 9 million tax filers who get some relief from the expenses of caring for aging parents or severely ill spouses or children. They are doing this it is said … that the bill as a whole would benefit more families by lowering tax rates and increasing the standard deduction in lieu of itemizing”.
