The Wilton Democratic Town Committee has endorsed a full slate of candidates that will head into the 2019 municipal elections. Those candidates were approved by the wider pool of almost 40 registered Democrats in attendance at the caucus.
The candidates in the running for the major seats include Deb McFadden for first select person; two candidates for Board of Selectmen–Ross Tartell and Ceci Maher; three candidates for Board of Finance (4 years)–Michael Kaelin, Jung Soo Kim and Chris Stroup; one candidate for BOF (2 Years)–Kevin Gardiner; Board of Education–Savet Constantine and Ruth DeLuca.
“It’s come together so beautiful, we have a fabulous slate–it’s really strong,” said DTC chair Tom Dubin. “The people on the ticket are fully engaged in Wilton, they have kids in the school, they’ve lived here a long time, they’ve volunteered, they’ve run businesses. Quality goes all up and down the ticket.”
